These special services are for those who already possess a driver’s license. Before enrolling in one of these classes, please contact the MVA to confirm the exact class that is required of you.
Special Services
3-Hour Alcohol & Drug Program
This program is for anyone who is applying for a Maryland’s License and currently possesses a license from another country and Armed Force License. Applicants of the 3-hour Drug & Alocohol do not need to take the 36 Hours GLS Program.
Driver Improvement Program (DIP)
The Driver Improvement Program is designed to correct one’s driving habit. This program is required for those who accumulated 5-7 points on their driving record, convicted or granted PBJ while on a Provisional’s, or ordered by a judge. You will usually receive a letter from the MVA of the notice.
